Refractor creates a Prism web application from within Firefox. Users can manually create web applications using "Tools > Convert Website to Application". The extension can also detect embedded web application bundles on web pages and prompt the user to install the bundle.
This is one of my favorite Firefox add ons. It is super simple to create individual apps for your favorite web pages and store them on your desktop. You can also keep the app running in your doc so that content is constantly updating. And my favorite thing about it is that the pages load so much faster!
Try it out by downloading the FF add on. Once it is installed, go to your favorite website (Google Mail, Facebook, Twitter, Google Calendar. At the top of the screen, click on Tools, then "Convert Website to Application". It is super simple! You can then use your application like any other desktop client. YAY!
